Short Introduction
The Summer School is primarily addressed to PhD students, researchers and professionals interested in the latest advances on assistive and rehabilitation technologies for the neuro-motor and cognitive function, and their route towards clinical applicability. The program will include topics as (tentative list):
- design, testing and validation of portable systems based on motion sensors
- ubiquitous monitoring of physical activities
- bio- and neuro-feedback
- reliability studies: from prototypes to validated tools
- users’ acceptability of intelligent assistive technology
Frontal lectures, interactive lectures and labs, open discussions and an industry corner will give to participants the opportunity of a crash course in the technologies for healthy movement across a spectrum of different applications, from clinical rehabilitation to ergonomics, from ambient assisted living to prosthetics.
